CirBioWaste at the Soils for Europe Conference 2026

07/08/2026

Fundació ENT will represent the CirBioWaste project at the Soils for Europe Conference 2026, taking place from 7–11 September in Coimbra, Portugal.

During Poster Session 2 (9 September), Fundació ENT will present how CirBioWaste supports local and regional authorities through capacity building and knowledge transfer. The poster will highlight key project outputs, including the Knowledge Hub, tailored Support Services, training activities and communication materials to improve separate bio-waste collection and compost quality across the Mediterranean region, demonstrating how sustainable bio-waste management contributes to healthier soils and a more circular bioeconomy.

The Soils for Europe Conference 2026 is one of Europe’s leading events on soil health, bringing together researchers, policymakers, land managers, industry representatives and civil society from across Europe. Co-organised by numerous Horizon Europe Mission Soil projects, the conference will present the latest research and innovations on topics including soil degradation and restoration, soil organic carbon, pollution prevention, sustainable land management, circular use of urban soils, soil monitoring, citizen engagement and emerging technologies for healthy soils. The programme also features a dedicated day on European projects and Living Labs, providing a unique platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange across the European soil community.
