CirBioWaste Project to Be Featured at the 9th Circle the Med Forum in Athens
The CirBioWaste project will take part in three days of high-level dialogues, knowledge exchange, networking and community building under the 9th edition of the Circle the MED Forum – a leading Mediterranean platform dedicated to advancing climate action, sustainability, and regional cooperation. The event will take place at the Piraeus Sailing Club, Athens, Greece, and will bring together policymakers, researchers, innovators, and stakeholders from across the region.

Organized within the frame of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme’s Innovative Sustainable Economy (ISE) Mission, the three-day gathering will focus on accelerating the green transition, fostering circular economy solutions, and strengthening resilience across Mediterranean territories. The Forum will also host key ISE Mission events, including the MED Innovation Summit 2026 and the ISE Community of Practice (CoP) in-person meeting.
A highlight of this year’s programme is the participation of the CirBioWaste project, which will be presented during one of the thematic sessions. The project will showcase its innovative approach to bio-waste management and circular economy practices, contributing to ongoing discussions on sustainable resource use and regenerative economic models.
By bringing together diverse actors and initiatives such as CirBioWaste, the Circle the Med Forum continues to play a key role in promoting knowledge exchange, scaling innovative solutions, and shaping a shared vision for a sustainable Mediterranean future.
